Who We Are
Review Radar is a service operated by SitebyCB. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the Review Radar service.
Information We Collect
From subscribers (business owners): When you sign up for Review Radar, we collect your name, email address, business name, city, state, and industry. This information is used to set up your account, identify your Google Business Profile, and send you review alerts and weekly digests.
From Google (publicly available): We collect publicly available data from Google Business Profiles, including business names, addresses, ratings, review counts, reviewer display names, and review text. This information is visible to anyone on Google Maps and Google Search. We do not collect any private or non-public data from Google.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the Review Radar service, including monitoring your Google reviews, generating AI-drafted responses, sending email alerts, and producing weekly competitor comparison digests. We also use your email address to send service-related communications such as welcome emails and account notifications.
AI Processing
Review text and business information are sent to a third-party AI service to generate suggested review responses. This data is processed in real time and is not stored by the AI provider beyond the immediate request. The AI service does not use your data to train its models.
Third-Party Services
Review Radar uses the following third-party services to operate:
Google Places API — to retrieve publicly available business and review data from Google.
OpenRouter / Anthropic — to generate AI-drafted review responses.
SendGrid — to send email alerts and digests.
Stripe — to process subscription payments.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and review data for as long as your subscription is active. Review data (reviewer names, review text, ratings) is stored to detect new reviews and avoid duplicate alerts. Upon cancellation, your account data is retained for 90 days for reactivation purposes, then deleted.
Data Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to subscriber data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through our contact form. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will stop all monitoring and email communications.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
